My Inspiration

Just a few days back I got curious, I was listening to the Top 5 @ 5 radio show on Magic 89.9 and the girls behind the mic are Andi-9 and Jessica. I always listen to them every time I go home from school. This DJ, Jessica caught my attention.

During my free time, I checked out DJ Jessica Mendoza on Facebook, I looked at her pictures and she is very beautiful, has a cute smile, and very unique at the same time. I read her profile at the magic 899 website and it said that she is an Ateneo merit scholar and probably the most beautiful self-confessed dork you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting.  She can talk to you about anything from Star Wars to basketball, how’s that for diverse? :)

I started watching Ateneo games because of her (she is the courtside reporter of the Ateneo Blue Eagles) even though I am routing for the De La Salle Green Archers. Hehe: P. It all started when I posted on my Facebook that: "I watch ATENEO games just because of Jessica Mendoza” then I said to my friends to become a fan of her or (Like) her just for the heck of it. I started being a little annoying telling them to like her on Facebook because she is like my crush? :D She has beauty, brains, uniqueness, and sounds like very happy person on radio. What about a 15 year old boy dating a 20 year old lady, it seems fair enough right? Just kidding!

On checking the website of Magic 89.9, I saw there are links of blogs of DJs there, so, of course, I should take a look at Jessica’s blog first. Then I read her blogs and she is a very good writer, there are words that I have to look up in the dictionary. She’s got a love for her words I guess. :)

Then I was inspired by her writing that something came into my head: "I feel like writing a journal and improve my English, maybe this is what it feels like to be inspired". I think this is my first time. It’s like: “I want to be that person when I grow up" why not right?

Another example is I also enjoy reading someone's blog, and that is my brother Cholo. He is also a La Sallian, and is an alumnus of La Salle Green Hills and De La Salle University. He is now taking up his master’s degree in business management in China, come to think of it, I want to be like my brother, fluent in English, has great ability to express himself in writing, very sociable and very fun to talk to.

I want to have an aptitude to talk English flawlessly without thinking: "oh damn what should I say next, think! Think! Think!" something like that. Speaking fluently in English is really a big factor in school, work and when I grow up in becoming a Future Leader.

So this is the feeling of having an inspiration, really feels good to start a new goal and going to work hard for it.  My Inspiration: Miss Jessica Mendoza of Magic 89.9 :)
